About Lodestar

Growing up in Lancashire I was introduced to mountains in the Lakes from an early age and still have fond memories of scaling Stickle Pike on family holidays. This enjoyment of walking and the mountains continued through Scouts where I learned the skills to enable me to enjoy the hills on my own before becoming a Leader, Instructor and Permit Assessor. Through Scouts I was also introduced to rock climbing and further developed my skills to climb independently before becoming an Instructor. I continue to enjoy the mountains walking, climbing and mountain biking. Holding the Mountain Leader, Mountain Bike Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor awards enables me to enjoy sharing this passion with others.I started Lodestar Adventure to help share my enjoyment and passion for walking, climbing and mountain biking with others.
